montana was heavenly--all that open space! we had a great reunion with my family in the mountains of big sky and then spent a week at my sister's in billings. they were amazing hosts and treated my boys to many 'firsts.'
first time fishing
first dune buggy ride--for me too!
first time on the trampoline
we had a great trip! the only snag was missing our return flight to boston due to weather in denver. we had to fly out the next day on a different flight and the man who traded me seats on the plane after the ticketing agent couldn't put all three of us together was a real gem. he very begrudgingly gave me his seat, but parted by saying, "maybe next time you will plan better and get your tickets a little earlier." yeah, next time i'll do what i can to control the weather that caused us to miss our flight--the flight i booked like six months in advance and for which i spent an extra 30 minutes on the phone making sure we got three seats together. he must have been one of those people who were never children themselves once... i should have just left him next to noah and luke if he wanted his aisle seat so much. :) ahhhh, the joys of flying with kids.

What a doofus. Seriously, come on!
Your trip sounds great. I'm glad you had a good time.
Oh, I hope to never have that fun experience. My sister did it with all five by herself a year ago and I am convinced it is not worth it! We still wish we could have been there in Montana! Looks like you had fun!
mindi-
your sister is BRAVE and a saint! how do you get six seats together on a plane? :)
and heidi-
where did your blog go???
My blog? What?
Yeah, I don't know. I kind of just got tired of it and some other stuff happened too that triggered the end. I'll have to tell you about it sometime. It involved "anonymous" comments from my sister and mom. Good stuff.
I don't miss it AT ALL though, so it's been good.
Isn't it hard to vacation without Daddy. I'm convinced that family vacation won't really be a vacation for me for several years, but the trips are still fun! We have been wanting to go to Montana for a while. Jeremy almost took a coachng job there after college, but his mom was very sick so he came home and then had our arranged marriage! I guess everything happens for a reason. But whenever we are sick of his job we think about calling his connection in Montana and starting over there!
Oh and clearly that guy never was a child and he definitely doesn't have kids either!
